2010 GTR tyres

I'm just about to trade in my 2009 GTR for a 2010 model. Anyone got any experience on the tyres on the new bike?

I had to change the tyres on this bike at 2500 miles as they were making the bike judder under breaking, are the new bikes any better?

I changed my 2008 model for a 2010 model earlier this year. I had fitted the 2008 model with Pr2s which were a massive improvement over the standard OEM items (Bridgestone) not only did they provide better roadholding but they lasted much longer too, in fact I did over 6000 miles on them and they still had life left in them.

My 2010 model came shod with the Bridgestone 021 Rs, and I have to say that they are impressive. I immediately felt that they were even better than the previous bikes PR2s :o

So far they seem to be lasting well which is a bonus.

The 2010 bike has a 'choppy' feel to the handling which I plan to sort by fitting a progressive Hyperpro spring, as and when I get time

Enjoy you bike, I already know that you will ;)

I also got a 2010 model with 021s fitted and agree that they are good tyres ,use them on both my bikes, a vfr 750fv being the other. not sure how long the total life of them will be as i having to change them after 4000mile as going touring down south next week and dont want to risk it.
prob going to give the 023s a try , only thing i not happy about is the price of the damn things £150  give or take a couple quid depending on what shop i go to. (decided on a mobile fitter )
